Bookings, Group Training, and Workplace Courses
Yes. Workplace training can be arranged depending on the course type, location, number of learners, equipment requirements, and instructor availability. For a tailored quote, contact the AIEM training team with the course name, preferred location, number of delegates, and proposed dates.
The required number of participants depends on the course, venue, location, and training requirements. AIEM can advise on minimum and maximum numbers once the course and training location are confirmed.
Maximum learner numbers vary by course because some programmes require practical skills stations, simulations, assessments, or specific instructor-to-student ratios. Check the course page or contact AIEM for confirmation.

Course Preparation and Certificates
Pre-course work details are usually provided in your confirmation letter or course instructions. For AHA courses such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS, review the confirmation email carefully and complete any required online learning before attending the practical session.
BLS HeartCode is a blended-learning option where the theory component is completed online, followed by a short in-person practical skills sign-off. Classroom BLS is completed in a more traditional instructor-led format. Both options are designed to meet the relevant BLS certification requirements.
Certificates are issued according to the requirements of the specific course and accrediting body. Some courses may require attendance, practical competence, online completion, assessments, or minimum pass marks before a certificate can be issued.
Many AIEM courses are CPD-accredited or aligned with recognised training bodies. CPD points and accreditation details can vary by course, so learners should check the specific course page or confirmation letter for the latest details.
Course-Specific Questions
EMATT®, or the Emergency Medicine Approach to Trauma, is a course designed to provide an alternate route to meet the trauma learning needs of the advanced provider in the South African and African context. It is designed for healthcare providers whose work requires oxygenation, ventilation and airway management skills, including EMS practitioners, emergency department practitioners, nurses and doctors. Online pre-course reading and activities are completed through the AIEM learner management system before attending the programme.
NERS®, or Neonatal Emergency Resuscitation and Stabilisation, is a one-day interactive programme focused on the assessment, resuscitation and stabilisation of neonates in emergency settings, including the delivery room, emergency department, prehospital environment and NICU.
